Our Auto Carpet Dyes and Vinyl Spray Paints are recommended for use on these automotive interior items:

NOTE: When using the Auto Carpet Dyes on carpets, it is recommended that the product should be used to enhance and restore faded or stained carpets to a similar color and not a drastic color change. It is also recommended that the Auto Carpet Dyes or Carpet Paint should not be used as a spot treatment, but the entire carpet should be painted to ensure uniformity of the color. If the spot on your carpet is darker than the color of your carpet, the spot may stay darker than the rest of the carpet, after the carpet is sprayed. You should do everything possible to remove or lighten the color of the spot as much as possible before spraying.

Vinyl, plastic or artificial leather surface preparation might be necessary. It should be applied on a clean, dry surface. A mild detergent may be used for cleaning. To rough up some smooth plastic surfaces, use a very fine 400 grit sandpaper for best adhesion.
